Dr. Sheldon Stuckart is a licensed chiropractor with physical therapy privileges in the state of Maryland and Virginia. An Ohio native, Dr. Sheldon graduated from Lindenwood University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He went on to earn his doctorate from Logan University, College of Chiropractic where he graduated on the Dean’s List and earned the Leader’s Made Award. While at Logan University, Dr. Sheldon refined his clinical skills and expertise with highly coveted clinical rotations. He utilized these opportunities to treat patients with disabilities at the St. Louis Paraquad, optimize collegiate athletes at the University of Memphis and Olympic athletes in Cuba, and help the people of Shanghai, China during his preceptorship.

Dr. Sheldon became interested in chiropractic through his personal experiences in sports medicine that kept him in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting where he was able to win Junior Nationals, train at the Olympic Training Center, and compete for Team USA in Peru and Chile.

With a passion for helping others and getting them to reach their human potential,  Dr. Sheldon is a firm believer in exercise is medicine and takes a functional approach to treatment. He utilizes a variety of tools in his toolbox including the chiropractic techniques: Diversified, Flexion/Distraction, Motion Palpation, Activator, and Thompson Drops; and myofascial techniques: Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilizations (IASTM), pin and stretch, laser, cupping, and dry needling.

Dr. Sheldon rose to the occasion by embracing the clinic director position within his first year at Kaizo Health and hasn’t looked back. He has evaluated over 1000 new patients and treated over 12,000 Kaizo Health patients since he became clinic director. He excels at building special relationships and bonds with his patients and always places them first above anything else. He tailors the treatment and care plan for what the patient deserves and needs to achieve shared treatment goals. Most patients continue to work with Dr. Sheldon after achieving their functional goals to maintain their optimal lifestyle and health. 

Since moving to the fast-paced Washington, DC metro area from St. Louis in 2020, Dr. Sheldon has quickly immersed himself in the community. He is a foodie, travel junkie, and adventurist so you can always find him meeting different people, learning new things, and chasing exciting experiences while exploring the DMV area.
